Fireworks Safety

Wile E. Coyote has a long history with explosives, so the 4th of July is a special day for him. A particularly close call under his rear end has gotten his buns tingling and glowing cherry-bomb red. Convinced he's avoided an embarrassing backfire, he exits, tauntingly shaking his hot booty. What he doesn't know, however, is that the blast has ignited his tail, which now burns like a fuse towards his unsuspecting fanny. The coyote shimmies over a hill, but soon he rockets back into view, propelled by his flaming buttocks. Wile E. is sometimes accused of having a short fuse, but here, the fire takes its own sweet time. Adapted from the WB cartoon "Soup Or Sonic."
